昨天是2017年2月14日，是情人节，也不知道是为了虐狗，还是真的有爱心，谣言再次出现！有人说：2月14日也是国际癫痫日！

新华网、好大夫在线······，很多牛逼的媒体全部在制造或者传播谣言！2月14日真的不是国际癫痫日！

我怎么也搞不懂：为什么西方人弄的两个纪念日要搞在一起。我就去“国际癫痫日网站”去看了一下，有如下收获：

1、网站里的原文：International Epilepsy Day is a special event which promotes awareness of epilepsy in more than 120 countries each year. Every year on the second Monday of February people join together to celebrate and highlight the problems faced by people with epilepsy, their families and carers.原文告诉我们：国际癫痫日是每年2月的第二个星期一。

今年，2017年的国际癫痫日是2月13日（确实是2017年2月的第二个星期一）。

3、

去年，2016年的国际癫痫日是2月8日（确实是2016年2月的第二个星期一）。

前年，2015年的国际癫痫日是2月9日（确实是2015年2月的第二个星期一）。

4、The Day is a joint initiative by the International Bureau for Epilepsy (IBE) and the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE).这个日子是国际癫痫病友会（IBE）和国际抗癫痫联盟（ILAE）联合倡议下，自2015年起，每年二月的第二个星期一，被确定为国际癫痫日（International Epilepsy Day， IED）。所以没有2015年之前的具体日期。

5、据此推算：明年，2018年的国际癫痫日是2月12日（确实是2018年2月的第二个星期一）。我们拭目以待！

患者癫痫正在发作，到底应该怎么进行急救，我们真的错了很多年，至今还在坚持错误！我引用并翻译了美国CDC（
http://www.cdc.gov/epilepsy/basics/first-aid.htm）网站中有关癫痫发作急救的一些内容供大家参考：

First aid for any type of seizure：对癫痫发作患者的急救措施：

There are many types of seizures. Most seizures end in a few minutes. These are general steps to help someone who is having any type seizure: 癫痫有很多种类型，大多数癫痫都几分钟之内结束，下面的方法是帮助所有癫痫患者的步骤：

• Stay with the person until the seizure ends and he or she is fully awake. After it ends, help the person sit in a safe place. Once they are alert and able to communicate, tell them what happened in very simple terms. 陪伴在患者身边直到癫痫发作结束患者完全清醒。癫痫结束之后帮助患者安全的休息。一旦患者清醒可以沟通，就用最简单的语言告诉患者发生了什么。

• Comfort the person and speak calmly. 安慰患者让患者保持冷静

• Check to see if the person is wearing or a medical bracelet or other emergency information. 检查患者是否携带有疾病信息手环。

• Keep yourself and other people calm. 保持自己和周围人处于冷静的状态。

• Offer to call a taxi or another person to make sure the person gets home safely. 确保患者能够安全的回家。

Knowing what NOT to do is important for keeping a person safe during or after a seizure. Never do any of the following things： 知道不应该做什么对患者的安全很重要，无论是患者癫痫发作时还是发作后。以下事项千万不要做：

• Do not hold the person down or try to stop his or her movements. 不要约束患者，不要试图让患者停止抽动。

• Do not put anything in the person's mouth. This can injure teeth or the jaw. A person having a seizure cannot swallow his or her tongue. 不要在患者嘴里放任何东西。这样做可能会损伤患者的牙齿和下颌。癫痫发作的患者不会咽下自己的舌头。（我认为这句话的意思就是患者不会咬掉自己的舌头）。

• Do not try to give mouth-to-mouth breaths (like CPR). People usually start breathing again on their own after a seizure. 不要进行口对口人工呼吸。癫痫停止之后患者大多会恢复自主呼吸。

• Do not offer the person water or food until he or she is fully alert. 在患者完全清醒之前不要给患者吃喝任何东西。

Call 911 if：出现如下情况时拨打911：

• The person has never had a seizure before.患者是第一次癫痫发作。

• The person has difficulty breathing or waking after the seizure. 患者癫痫发作结束之后呼吸困难或者不能恢复清醒。

• The seizure lasts longer than 5 minutes. 癫痫发作时间超过5分钟。

• The person has another seizure soon after the first one. 癫痫发作反复出现（停止后又发生）。

• The person is hurt during the seizure. 患者在癫痫发作的时候受伤。

• The seizure happens in water. 患者在水中癫痫发作。。

• The person has a health condition like diabetes, heart disease, or is pregnant. 患者有糖尿病、心脏病或者怀孕。
